Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Semi-Final Draw
15th July 2025

With the Camanachd Cup Final fast approaching, the semi-final draw has taken place, held at Tulloch Homes’ recently launched Fairview Heights development, just off the Southern Distributor Road in Inverness.
With three and four bedroom high quality homes currently on sale, the brand new phase at Fairview is ideally located to local amenities with spectacular views over the city, towards the hills beyond the Highland capital.
The Semi-Final Draw threw up two fascinating match-ups:
2nd August 2025 - Fort William vs Kingussie at Bught Park, Inverness
9th August 2025 - Newtonmore vs Oban Camanachd at An Aird, Fort William
Holders Kingussie were first out of the hat and were drawn against the team level on points with them in the Mowi Premiership, Fort William. That game is a repeat of the 2024 semi-final which saw Kingussie win 3-2 with all 5 goals coming in the first 20 minutes.
2023 runners up Oban Camanachd will be looking to make a 3rd final in 6 years, while their semi-final opponents Newtonmore’s last appearance in a Camanachd Cup Final came in a 5-1 victory over Oban Camanachd in 2019.
Burton Morrison, President of the Camanachd Association, said:
“As we reach the semi-final stage of the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup, players and supporters of the four remaining teams begin to anticipate what may lie ahead. These matches are always fiercely contested, with clubs giving everything for the chance to reach the final. It’s a fool’s errand to predict what might happen, but what is exciting is that we have Shinty’s four form teams, leading to two great matchups. It’s a time when communities rally behind their teams, and the support of Tulloch Homes helps us to promote and celebrate our sport, sharing the excitement of shinty at its very best. Good luck to all the teams.”
Kieran Graham, Tulloch Homes Managing Director, said:
“The excitement is continuing to build as we approach the Camanachd final and it is great to see communities turn out to support their teams. One of my favourite things about Shinty and the Camanachd cup is how it brings people together, and that is especially true of this season. As always, we are honoured to support this Shinty staple and I’m looking forward to seeing which teams will make it to the final.”
The 2025 Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final, held in a special year for Tulloch as they celebrate their 100th anniversary, is set to take place on September 20th at Bught Park, Inverness and discounted tickets are available now at www.shinty.com/tickets.
Both semi-finals will be televised live on BBC ALBA.
